PURE SINE WAVE VECTOR CONTROL
The control system produces pure sine wave electrical phase output, which yields silky-smooth acceleration while generating no motor harmonics. Aka it's super quite.
REGENERATIVE INTERLOCK BRAKING
The rear brake of the P5 utilizes regenerative interlock braking. When the Interlock is activated it turns the Rovers motor into a power generator and feeds energy back to the battery as you slow down. The Interlock engages via light depression of the brake lever, so the rear brake activates just before the front brake pads touch the brake rotor. Aside for the braking system being extremely effective and reliable, it also offloads work from the front brake pads allowing them to last much longer.
The P5 utilizes dual-piston hydraulic braking with an oversized 180mm rotor and high performance metal ceramic brake pads for increased braking power and increased longevity. Additionally, the P5 also features a 10% increase in Regenerative Interlock braking power.
